Revision Rhinoplasty
Revision rhinoplasty is done when patients are not satisfied with the results of the previous surgery, or if they have anatomical, functional complications, or side effects.
In the event of anatomical and functional complications or side effects, the surgery is more complicated than the previous surgery and it should be approached carefully through sufficient counseling and examination. The revision surgery should be planned by closely analyzing the cause of failure of the primary surgery. In recent years, numerous damages have been reported after surgeries were performed by unqualified professionals or non-specialists. Therefore, revision surgery should be performed through sufficient consultation with experienced rhinoplasty specialists.
