CANTHOPLASTY SURGERY MAGIC LOWERING CANTHOPLASTY
Lowering canthoplasty is a surgery to lower the outer corner of the eyes for those who have upward slanted eyes. An incision is made 30~40 degrees downwards at the corner of the eyes; ligaments are moved downwards and fixed at the periosteum. This increases the exposure of the whites of the eye, creating a softer image overall.
- Short operation time and minimal swelling and bruising so patients can return to their normal daily lives right away - Low possibility of recurrence or eyes slanting again since the corner of the eyes are fixed to the periosteum - The slanted corner of the eyes are lowered, creating a much softer impression - By moving the outer corner of the eyes downwards, the white part of the eyes are exposed more and gives a well-defined eye shape - An incision is made near conjunctiva, so there is no need to worry about scars
- Those with slanted eyes - Those who cannot improve their eye shape by lateral epicanthoplasty due to insufficient space between orbital bone and corner of the eye - Those who didn't see an improvement by normal lateral epicanthoplasty or in case of recurrence
