Dynamic Method

This method was created through observation of innate double eyelids, as they are created when there is a fibrous connection between the eyelid skin dermis and levator palpebrae superioris muscle. The existing ‘static method’ is a method where the muscle beneath the skin is substantially removed, and physically fixes the dermis beneath the skin to the upper eyelid plate which causes dented scar when the eyes are closed. On the other hand, the ‘dynamic method’ removes less muscle beneath the skin and fixes the dermis to the upper eyelid fascia just as in natural eyelid crease, which is the best way to avoid the dent and to leave smooth and sleek scarring.

● Static crease

- Removal of large amounts of orbicularis oculi muscle - The dermis is fixed at the tarsal plate - Deep scar is made with a poor skin condition

● Dynamic crease - Natural Incision

- Removal of small amounts of orbicularis oculi muscle - The dermis is fixed at upper eyelid fascia just like natural double eyelids - Flat scar with smooth skin condition

Characteristics of Natural Incision Method

- It creates a clear double eyelid crease while not leaving any visible scar - Improves skin sagging effectively - Has less swelling and faster recovery compared to the conventional incision method - In association with ptosis correction, it maximizes the effect of making your eyes bigger
